I’m a UX designer with a visual design background and an innate flair for all things creative. I graduated from the University of Washington in 2020 with a B.A. in Community Psychology, double minoring in Visual & Media Arts and Consciousness. My design journey kicked off when I created my very first board game (ask me about it!). The fusion of creative expression and understanding people’s needs for functional yet engaging solutions was incredibly interesting to me.
I love creatively tackling real-world issues across various mediums. My psychology and visual art background paved the way for me to explore the realm of UX/UI design, a space I’ve dubbed my “perfect fit.” Designing and creating isn’t just a job for me; it’s a lifelong dream that allows me to sprinkle a bit of my creativity while fostering empathy and thoughtfulness.
I previously worked as a UX Designer at DoubleDown Interactive, working on casual mobile games. This role honed my skills in designing wireframes, prototyping, defining UX strategies, collaborating with other teams locally and overseas, and assisting with UI design. While I enjoy my work being an individual contributor, I hope to give back to the design community one day. Whether it’s mentoring aspiring designers looking to carve their path or sharing insights with those eager to dive into the design world, count me in!
Outside of the design realm, you’ll find me indulging in anime (recently caught up with One Piece - an epic achievement), struggling to learn how to crochet, or playing games (currently hooked on Pokémon Scarlet Expansion Pass: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero & Honkai: Star Rail). Let's connect and chat about design, creative mediums, or the latest animes!
